
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Saudi Arabia secured SAR 490.7 billion in credit facilities during the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, accounting for 11.7% of total credit facilities.
According to recent figures from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), medium enterprises secured the largest share at SAR 231.7 billion, followed by small enterprises at SAR 172.2 billion and micro enterprises at SAR 86.7 billion.
Saudi banks provided SAR 467.6 billion in credit facilities in Q2-26, including SAR 222 billion extended to medium enterprises, while finance companies provided SAR 23.1 billion.
These figures underscore the Kingdom’s sustained efforts to strengthen the sector and expand access to credit facilities for MSMEs through various financing initiatives, regulatory support, and close coordination between SAMA, banks, and finance companies.
