Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Emirates NBD Asset Management and BlackRock have introduced two new investment funds targeting regular income and portfolio diversification, broadening access to global investment strategies for retail and wealth clients across the region as their strategic partnership marks its first anniversary.
As per a recent press release, the FundStar Emirates CLO AA Fund and the Emirates Systematic Income and Growth Fund expand the collaboration launched in 2025 to provide investors with access to alternative investment opportunities. The partnership has attracted $350 million in assets under management over the past year.
Sub-managed by BlackRock, the FundStar Emirates CLO AA Fund invests in investment-grade collateralized loan obligations backed by senior secured corporate loans across the US and Europe. It targets an average portfolio credit rating of AA, with no sub-investment-grade exposure, and offers daily liquidity without leverage.
The Emirates Systematic Income and Growth Fund follows a flexible strategy that allocates capital across globally diversified, income-producing assets. BlackRock serves as investment advisor, while Emirates NBD Asset Management oversees portfolio management. The fund targets annual distributions of 7%, net of fees, paid quarterly.
Michail Samawi, Senior Executive Officer at Emirates NBD Asset Management, said the launches respond to growing regional demand for sophisticated, income-generating investment solutions.
Both funds are now available to Emirates NBD wealth and retail clients.
