Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Globant, a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technology solutions, announced the official inauguration of its Middle East regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking a major step in its expansion strategy.

The move comes less than three years after the company first entered the region, and it aligns with Globant’s ambition to lead digital reinvention in the Middle East through AI-powered customer experiences and local talent integration, as per a recent press release.

According to Martín Migoya, Globant’s Co-founder and CEO, reinvention is core to the company’s identity, and through its new Riyadh hub, Globant aims to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s transformation journey. He highlighted the promise of the Kingdom’s young talent as a powerful driver for economic innovation.

Globant noted that its Riyadh HQ will help accelerate AI-led innovation across industries including media, financial services, gaming, and tourism. The company plans to train Saudi IT professionals through specialized AI courses, equipping them to take on roles as AI Architects and Engineers.

Federico Pienovi, CEO & CBO of New Markets at Globant, stated that the new hub would enable the company to better support public and private organizations across the region by leveraging expertise in AI, data, and cloud technologies. He added that the Riyadh office could serve as a base to export best practices and tech talent globally.

Mamdouh Aldoubayan, Managing Director for MENA at Globant, emphasized that the Riyadh tech ecosystem presents a unique opportunity for the company to contribute to Vision 2030, strengthen local partnerships, and drive progress through innovation.

The new headquarters, located in KAFD, includes Globant’s third global “Playground,” an immersive space designed to engage the region’s tech leaders through interactive simulations blending AI and sports. Highlights include a sci-fi pit crew VR challenge and AI-powered sports simulators, first introduced in São Paulo and Los Angeles.
