
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia and Canada signed six memoranda of understanding (MoU) on Sunday during the Saudi–Canadian Business and Investment Forum, covering cooperation in communications, information technology, cybersecurity, education, and manufacturing.
The forum was held under the “Invest Saudi” umbrella and was attended by Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih and Canadian Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu, alongside senior government officials and representatives from leading companies in both countries.
Discussions focused on strengthening investment partnerships across key sectors, including digital transformation, infrastructure, defense, and other areas of mutual interest. The forum also explored opportunities to expand Saudi and Canadian corporate investments in both markets.
On the sidelines, bilateral private sector workshops were held to facilitate knowledge exchange and explore potential areas of cooperation between public and private stakeholders from both countries.
