
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Mawani announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Q Saudi to provide 500 transport hoppers at Yanbu Commercial Port as part of efforts to strengthen logistics efficiency and support food security in the Kingdom.
According to Mawani’s announcement on X.com, the initiative is designed to improve the smooth flow of supply chains and enhance grain and food cargo handling operations at the port. The project is also expected to accelerate transport, loading, and discharge activities while improving operational efficiency and reducing truck waiting times.
The agreement further aims to strengthen connectivity between Saudi cities and Gulf countries, supporting broader regional trade and logistics integration.
Mawani said the initiative aligns with its ongoing strategy to modernize Saudi ports' infrastructure and boost the efficiency of logistics operations in line with the Kingdom’s transport and food security goals.
