
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Zain Saudi Arabia announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dammam Airports to strengthen digital infrastructure and support the modernization of airport services across the Kingdom's Eastern Region.
As per a recent press release, the agreement was signed at King Fahd International Airport by Mohammed Al-Hassany, CEO of Dammam Airports, and Saad Al-Sadhan, CEO of Zain Saudi Arabia.
Under the MoU, Zain will study the deployment of an integrated digital ecosystem for Dammam Airports, leveraging its 5G network and a range of advanced technology solutions. The proposed services include cloud computing through Zain Cloud, Wi-Fi connectivity solutions, digital infrastructure upgrades, and technical support services.
The partnership aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve the passenger experience, and strengthen the digital work environment across airports managed by Dammam Airports.
The agreement aligns with Zain Saudi Arabia's efforts to support the Kingdom's digital transformation agenda and key economic sectors, including transportation, logistics, and tourism. It also supports Dammam Airports' strategy to adopt advanced technologies and smart applications while reinforcing Saudi Arabia's position as a global travel and tourism destination.
