
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The second edition of the Supply Chain and Procurement Conference, organized by The Supply Chain and Procurement Society, kicked off today in Dammam under the auspices of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef.
Held under the theme ‘Resilient Supply Chains for a Sustainable Future,’ this two-day conference brings together 50 speakers, including leaders, experts, and specialists from government entities and local and international companies, to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and available opportunities in the sector.
The Supply Chain and Procurement Conference 2026 aims to enhance knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration among leading companies and institutions in the supply chain and procurement sector. Discussions focus on accelerating the Kingdom’s manufacturing capability by enabling industrial supply chains; automating supply chains and procurement through agentic AI; building a well-rounded supply chain by excellence in local content and sustainability; and building effective partnerships to power supply chains in the Kingdom.
Additional topics include future-proofing supply chains and procurement through resilience, risk management, and adaptability, as well as enhancing AI fluency and concept mastery of supply chain and procurement.
