Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: AMD and PIF-owned AI company HUMAIN launched a new “AI in a Box” solution to help enterprises across Saudi Arabia deploy artificial intelligence more easily.
As per a recent press release, the turnkey solution is designed for entry-level AI use cases across industries including oil and gas, financial services, and manufacturing. Built by HUMAIN, it leverages AMD Instinct GPUs and energy-efficient AMD EPYC CPUs to enable organizations to deploy AI, test new applications, and expand access to AI tools among employees.
Lisa Su, AMD chair and CEO, said the collaboration with HUMAIN aims to make high-performance computing more accessible to businesses of different sizes, supporting innovation and growth in the AI era.
Meanwhile, Tareq Amin, HUMAIN CEO, said the solution is designed to help enterprises begin with individual AI workloads, demonstrate their value, and scale toward larger deployments without initially requiring hyperscale infrastructure.
This stride builds on AMD and HUMAIN’s strategic collaboration, which includes plans to invest up to $10 billion in AI infrastructure initiatives. A joint venture involving AMD, HUMAIN and Cisco also plans to deploy up to 1 gigawatt of AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia by 2030.
