Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Foodics, a Saudi-born restaurant operations and fintech platform, unveiled its Capital 2.0 at Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh on 14 September, introducing an AI-powered funding solution designed to give restaurants faster access to capital.

Capital 2.0 uses restaurants’ operational and financial performance data to automatically pre-qualify eligible businesses for funding. An embedded AI layer supports credit scoring and underwriting, reducing the need for a traditional application process.

Eligible restaurant operators can select financing terms and complete the process through the Foodics App, with funds approved and disbursed within four hours.

Foodics aims to deploy SAR 375 million in funding during the solution’s first year. Financing options will include working capital and invoice factoring for suppliers, with funding ranging from around SAR 20,000 to more than SAR 2 million for expansion.

The solution also offers flexible repayments through small deductions from daily settlements.

On this occasion, Ahmad AlZaini, Co-founder and CEO of Foodics, said the launch marks a step towards turning restaurant performance data into financial value and supporting merchants’ growth across the region.

Money20/20 Middle East, the region's leading fintech event, runs from 14 to 16 September in Riyadh, bringing together over 600 investors, more than 350 brands, over 350 speakers, and more than 150 startups.

Throughout three days, the event will connect global financial leaders with the companies, institutions, and policymakers shaping the next phase of financial services in Saudi Arabia and across the region.
