
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia implemented comprehensive and transformative labor market reforms under Vision 2030 to boost employment, reduce unemployment, and diversify the national economy.
During the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, the unemployment rate in the Kingdom recorded 3.4%, declining by 0.3 percentage points compared to the same quarter in 2024, according to recent figures released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
The Labor Force Survey, conducted by GASTAT, showed that the overall labor force participation rate, including Saudis and non-Saudis, reached 66.9%, dropping by 0.2 percentage points compared to Q2-25.
The indicators further showed that the labor force participation rate for Saudi males reached 64.3%, while the participation rate for Saudi females recorded 33.7%.
